Home > Buzz 3D software Technical data > License-Control and eCommerce TransactionsWhere required Licensing and eCommerce Transactions can be supported within the system, permitting the end user’s installation to be version-checked against a master database remotely for security / anti-piracy purposes. Renewable license periods can be administered from a central administration server chosen by our client, with the end user experience upon renewal to be like any other credit-card transaction, and conducted over the internet or via post / telephone with our client’s designated agent. The designated agent must have direct access to the appropriate license code generators, and the end user’s individual license number must be uniquely generated, and securely maintained within their configuration. As a security measure and to establish user ‘permissions’, a mechanism will be introduced into the source programming of the 3D engine that periodically performs a system check and detects whether or not the user is entitled to proceed.
