A light, powerful, MySQL local database engine is included as a self-contained entity (ie. does not require separate installation) within Buzz 3D.  This database is used to catalogue external media content such as MP3 audio files, video files, lists of available TV Channels, EPG data, etc.

This database has a script-driven capability for linking to remote databases for search / read / post operations using their own language, eg. SQL, Oracle, IDL, etc.
